Walking  over  Telford’s  great  suspension  bridge  we  finally  reach  the  Isle  of Anglesey where the Coastal Path is followed to Beaumaris and through beautiful coastal scenery to reach Cemaes Bay and the northernmost point in Wales. Along  the  way,  we  visit  prehistoric  sites,  medieval castles  and  ancient  churches  and explore the history of slate quarrying and copper mining. Great events of Welsh history are recalled and the reader is given a real sense of how the past is present at every step.
